In 2005, "Kakehashi: THAT WE MIGHT LIVE" was recorded in Japan by 143 world-class Japanese Military Musicians and 300 Chorus traveling from Shenandoah and Old Dominion Universities. It was the FIRST recording released by the Ministry of Defense outside of Japan. In 2007, a “visualized” version of "Kakehashi: THAT WE MIGHT LIVE", won THREE Telly Awards in History, Biography & Music, and an AVA Gold Award. It was also nominated for the Pulitzer and Nemmers Prizes in Music. More importantly, when copies of the DVD version went to Congress in 2007, it resulted in several of the ex-POWs from WWII receiving long-overdue Bronze Stars & Purple Hearts. Yes… a single work, written for fine HIGH SCHOOL Bands and Choruses, won multiple TELLY and AVA Awards and inspired Congress to award forgotten soldiers of WWII Bronze Stars and Purple Hearts. Anaya Kunst is a Brazilian composer, musician, recording artist, filmmaker, author, and music producer.Her genre has been described as New Age, Instrumental, and Electronic and she has won numerous awards including Global Music Awards, Clouzine International Music Awards, and was nominated for an Independent Music Award and Hollywood Music in Media Award, among others.^[As a music video and short film producer and director, she won Best Original Music, Best Director, and Best Women Filmmaker for Dragons Gate at the Critics Choice International Film Festival as well as receiving awards by Beyond the Curve International Film Festival (Paris, France),he Los Angeles Motion Picture Festival, the Swedish International Film Festival, and others. She is a trained opera singer and studied at Conservatorio with Carlos Gomez.^[10] She holds a master's degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a doctorate degree from Loughborough University of Technology in England, and a post doctorate degree from Syracuse University School of Information Studies. I think it’s becoming clear

we have to deal

with what’s going on here

 

instead of running away

we have to find a way 

to heal what divides and separates

 

we all want to feel great

we have lots of ways to meditate

but for humanity to survive

we must help others with their lives

 

if you’re addicted to the bliss

what happens after that kiss

the higher reality exists

to help fix what really is

we must understand

to lend a helping hand

we must  learn to love ourself

and then perhaps we can

work to serve a higher plan
