Dr. Michael H. Likey, H.Dip. (Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy from The Robert Shields College of Hypnotherapy, England also certified as a Fear Elimination Therapist, 2004) is also a triple-Doctoral graduate (with a D.D., or Doctor of Divinity and a Ph.D. in Mystical Research, as well as a PsyThD., Doctor of Theocentric Psychology) of the oldest and most respected University of Metaphysics in the world, Dr. Leon Masters' University of Metaphysics, located in Sedona Arizona, and the University of Sedona.

He is the author of more than forty self-help/metaphysical/mystical paperback books and also e-books globally-available through Amazon. He is also Founder/CEO/Spiritual-Director of his Sunday-morning spiritual gatherings/programs.

He is a Member of the International Metaphysical Ministry (U.S.A.), and The Association of Ethical and Professional Hypnotherapists. (England)

In the 1980's and '90's, Magic Mike Likey, professional magician, musician, and published creator and designer of magic illusions and proprietor of his magic-shop "Merry Minstrel Majick", hosted the longest-running television show about magic in Winnipeg, Canada, "Magic Mike's Castle"!

He performed grand stage illusions as well as close-up magic. His "Magic Circus" and "Kiddie Cabaret" shows toured extensively.

Today, Dr. Michael H. Likey, Ph.D., carries on with the "Magic Mike Likey's Castle Mysteries" podcasts and webcasts.

Arbor Day Expo to give away 1,800 Free trees

The annual 1,000 Hawaiian Tree Giveaway will be an in person event. Trees are available one per person, any age. You may reserve a tree online and it will be held for you to pick up from 9 am to 2 pm; or you can walk-in and choose from a selection of trees that are being held for those without a reservation. 

Reserving a tree online: You may reserve a tree HERE. Your reservation is tied to your email address and name, and your confirmation email will be your ticket for the tree. Reserved trees may be picked up from 9 am to 2 pm on November 5 at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens. At 2 pm, any unclaimed reserved trees will become available for others to select and take home.

Parking: Residents are asked to park in War Memorial Stadium Parking Lot and walk across to Maui Nui Botanical Gardens at the crosswalk, or park in on street parking along Kanaloa Ave.  Directions to Maui Nui Botanical Gardens.

From Darkness to Light

In the time of darkness there is light. This is a deep talk and meditation about darkness and light. Many spiritual holi-days are celebrated at this time of year, Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness. I go into how we embody the light and maintain the light and use the light in our life.

Giving and Receiving

A deep dive into how and why we give and receive. Based on a poem i wrote, called the Begging Bowl. I do a meditation with an exercise on how to receive more light and love

the share more in how we live

 

there are so very many

 empty begging bowls

asking for us to help

and feed a starving soul

 

there will always be

those who are hungry

with call to feed those

who are in great need

 

there are many empty begging bowls

and many whose bowls are full

what can we do to give

something to help the whole

 

sometimes it’s a small gift

an act of kindness

that makes the world

a better place to live 

 

we all have needs to feed

we all have gifts to share

it’s nice to see the give and take

find a way to show we care

 

empty begging bowls

can be a chalice

and become an offering  

a chance to share our blessings

For when we empty our bowl
