Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscope has received 19 Emmy nominations and been awarded six Emmys. “I am honored that the Television Academy has graced our travel series with its 19th Emmy nomination,” says host and director Joseph Rosendo. “I am, of course, personally gratified by my sixth nomination for director and am thankful for the recognition from my peers and the Academy. I’m humbled to be chosen from a rich field of so many talented professionals. Foremost, I want to thank my producer and wife Julie Rosendo for making it all possible through her inspiring dedication to quality, engaging, educational entertainment. She’s the muscle that keeps our team of dedicated, talented individuals working together to produce 11 seasons and 130 episodes of one of the most engaging, thoughtful and quality productions on television. Since Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscope has already won six Emmy awards, I can tell you how sweet and thrilling it is to win. Yet, above all else, it is the joy of creating a series that stands as a force for good on the planet and a positive bridge between our viewers and the amazing people we meet on our travels that is most satisfying. Nevertheless, make no mistake, we are ecstatic about the nomination and look forward to bringing home another Emmy!” THANK YOU to our Season 10 sponsors, EVA Airways and No Jet Lag! Season 11 of our Emmy award-winning television series holds true to our mission to introduce people to people and build bridges - not walls - between them. A sampling of this season's adventures include a celebrate of Maine and those that cherish their “honest” ways of being in a state that boasts more than 80% forest wilderness. We also navigate Ontario’s Rideau Canal in our own Le Boat watercraft, stopping in small towns and villages along the way for a healthy dose of Canada’s autumn splendor and savory delights. This season we return to Taiwan for a centuries-old festival where the Saisiyat, one of Taiwan’s 16 indigenous tribes, casts off the sins of their fathers, seeks atonement for past transgressions against others and celebrates a newfound unity. Season 11 continues our dedication to celebrate people and the human stories that bring travel destinations to life. Now more than ever, we remain committed to Mark Twain's words, “Travel is Fatal to Prejudice, Bigotry and Narrow-Mindedness.” Join us as accept the world’s invitation to visit and turn you on to travel with Season 11 of Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscope!
