An interview with Bill Leslie, the morning and noon co-anchor of WRAL News in Raleigh.. his latest release is called "Across the Water". His first solo release was "Peaceful Journey" was my first solo release and received some wonderful reviews and a number one ranking on the world music charts. "Christmas in Carolina" and "I Am a River" were next and each peaked at number two on the charts. I was thrilled when "Blue Ridge Reunion" hit number one on the charts and was named Best Acoustic Instrumental Album of the Year. My next album, "Simple Beauty," also hit number one on the world music charts and was voted by radio hosts worldwide as the Best Acoustic Instrumental Album of 2010. He was a very special person. It was not until his death did anyone realize how many people this small child had reached and affected. Will's generosity and love of life has inspired the creation of The Will Smith Foundation to continue his benevolence. Even though Will is not physically with us any more, his kind and giving spirit will continue to fill the hearts and enrich the lives of many.

Interview with Rick Vito who plays at Fleetwoods tonight with Mick Fleetwood and Willie K Rick did his first pro work on tour with Delaney & Bonnie. Soon after, he began to establish himself as a respected recording session player first appearing on Todd Rundgren's classic album, "SOMETHING ANYTHING". At this time Rick also worked with such artists as LITTLE RICHARD, BOBBY WHITLOCK, JOHN PRINE, and DOBIE GRAY among many others.
Late in 1974 Rick received an invitation to join a new band being formed by British Bluespioneer, JOHN MAYALL, with whom Rick worked with subsequently on four albums. In the following years, Rick was a member of ex-BYRD ROGER MCGUINN's group, THUNDERBYRD, and also a founding member of Los Angeles club favorites, the ANGEL CITY RHYTHM BAND. With the ACRB, Rick had a unique opportunity to back many of the Blues greats he had been influenced by. Performing regularly at the Topanga Canyon Corral club on Monday Blues nights, they regularly held court with ALBERT COLLINS, LOWELL FULSON, BIG JOE TURNER, and GEORGE 'HARMONICA' SMITH, among many others."...a master of the instrument, at last getting the attention he deserves as bandleader/bluesman that is long overdue.” – JOHN MAYALL
