Had a great talk with Michael Whalen, who is a two-time Emmy® Award winning composer and music supervisor (with 8 nominations) who has worked in advertising, television, film and video games for over 30 years. Some of his best-known work: “Veronika Decides to Die” (2014), “What the Bleep Do You Know?”, “As The World Turns”, themes for HBO, CBS News, ABC News’ “Good Morning America”, “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, dozens of specials for PBS, National Geographic, Discovery, The BBC, NHK and the History Channel and television films for Lifetime and the Hallmark Channel. Michael is also an internationally known recording artist with 30 solo and soundtrack recordings to his credit. Well-known for his beautiful and thematic music, he performs when time allows. He has also produced and executive produced over 100 recordings for other artists. His work as a executive producer resulted in a Grammy Nomination in 2000.
As well as his music work, Michael is an expert on copyright law, music monetization and digital rights. After several posts in the industry, he is now the CCO of Artist Expansion - a "boutique" artist development company which handles a small but highly successful roster of music artists. He also consults with major technology and music companies and mentors artists around the world. As a teacher, he has been an adjunct professor at NYU, The Berklee College of Music and The City College of NY creating highly successful courses in scoring and music business. Michael is also an author, thought leader on the future on digital copyrights and panelist at dozens of major conferences and festivals.

THE AFFIRMATIONS
Priority:
I realize that to be God guided I must be as close to God as possible and therefore make my relationship to God the number one priority in my life
Dedication:
I dedicate my body mind and soul to God’s presence within me for the greater my dedication the more God guidance I received
Will:
I give up my personal will God’s and thus increase God’s guidance as my soul’s purpose for this lifetime is more readily achieved
Negativity:
I release all stored up negative energy in my body mind and soul to the sublimating light of God’s healing light within me, knowing the negative energy forms an internal blockage of the positive energy of God’s guidance
Gods thinking:
I am more open to receive God’s guidance when I think more like God, which is thinking about everyone’s needs not just my own
Christ like visualization:
I visualize be into tires interior of my body filled with the light of Christ consciousness for that part of onement with God that I may receive God’s guidance
Meditation:
through my daily practice of meditation I establish and maintain a pipeline flow of that between grist Mind consciousness and God, through which I may receive
Wouldn’t it be great if you could have the best life coach in the world there to help you everyday? Someone who knew you inside out, with all the good and bad parts. Someone who has known you for lifetimes and only wants the best for you. Someone who who is always on call and doesn’t even want to get paid for their help?
There is such a being and it is possible. For God can be your life coach. God has always had your back. He has always been waiting for you to call upon Him. He is your direct connection to our highest purpose. Why would you want to take second hand information from others with their own motives? Motives that often are based on getting money for you. No one knows you better than God does. No one wants to help you more than God does because he expresses
There is a kind of Love that we all seek and need. For we created with an eternal promise in the depths of our hearts that there is a perfect love that understands us unconditionally.
That is the path of love that God has created for us.
God’s path get’s you in touch with your true self and with the God within. God is always there to direct and guide you. It’ that inner voice that speaks in whispers to your soul. It is a powerful presence that is your resource to use to make your life better. The Creator of all life.
God works with the Sacred Tools of Love. This is a mystical path that is not just a Sunday kind of love. This is not just a thought but a lifelong path to follow twenty-four seven.
It is a daily connection to the source of all of life. It’s a two way communication, based on your relationship with God. You can make a daily practice of how to Live with God’s Love, and how to set up a line of communication with Him. You will learn how to listen and hear His guidance. You will learn how to be a living Power point. A point alive with God’s light and love to use and share in life, that will make you a better person.
This is not just a thought but a lifelong path to follow. This book includes ways you can make a daily practice of how to Live with God’s Love. You will connect with God in the morning and night, before you go to sleep. You will learn top build a strong connection to your soul and the light and love that brings. Once this connection is established you can always connect with it. You can always ask for guidance and direction. Whether you listen or not is up to you.
The gift of love the Creator has come to bring the Holy Spirit to unite us all as one. This is the Spirit that brings Joy, Peace, Understanding and Love to all. This is our inheritance. This is what our soul longs for and seeks to find. To make us whole, to be complete and this is our reason for being. To know that we are unconditionally loved by God
Is it an easy thing to do. YES! Once you make a soul commitment. Do not be fooled by the distractions created by the ego. The ego tells you that you are not worthy. Yet, you are worthy. You are a child of God and you have the power to claim your true inheritance. The ego says you can’t do it, but if you try you can.
Finding the Love that is God’s Love is your reason for being. It is why you are here. Yes, when you are ready to be made whole and meet the truth of who you are you will stop and listen to that inner voice that is calling you home. You can find the inner urging to follow the mystic path to unite with God and let the Christ be born in you.
All you have to do is say yes. Commit yourself to take the time to let Gods light and love into your heart and soul. Take the time to make God your best friend, your life coach. Find that inner connection right inside you.
You must be willing to follow the path of the Master and live with loving kindness to let Gods guide you. You can learn to use the sacred tools God gave us to put to work in your life. This is a practice that will change your life. You must give yourself to God as his servant because you realize that you are blessed by giving back what you've been given.
The path is long and it is not easy, but the journey is filled with so many blessings that will stay with you for lifetimes. God has given us Sacred tools to use. They were brought to Life by Christ by his teachings and way of life. We can use these Sacred tools to improve our lives and other peoples lives as well. If we slip and fall, and we will, we just go back and tune in to God’s directions and try again.
Are you ready to walk with God’s Love, to be God’s love, to become God’s living light and love? All it takes is some time set aside each day to meditate and pray.
With the gift of love the creator has come to Unite us all as one. This is our inheritance. This is what our soul longs for and seeks to find. To make us whole and to find a way to be complete.
This is our reason for being. For when you are ready to be made whole and meet the truth of who you are, you will stop and listen to that inner voice that is calling you home. You will find the inner urging to follow the mystic path to unite with God and be his living light here on earth.
All you have to do is say yes. And then take the time to let Gods light and love into your heart and soul. You must be willing to follow the path of the Master and live with loving kindness. To let God’s will guide you. To use the sacred tools Christ gave us to be at work in your life.
So give yourself to God and let Him be your true advisor. Let Him speak to you and guide you. Let God be your Life coach. Let Him be your beloved friend and teacher. The path is long and hard but the journey is filled with many blessings.This is the mystic path. The path of Direct inner contact with God. It is a path I have followed since I was fourteen. It has truly changed my life and brought me infinite blessings. It is deepest hope that I can share with you what I have learned from direct contact with God.
I have found that through meditation and prayer you can find all the answers you ever need in life, if you just listen. I have created a format where you read a message and meditate each morning. It truly helps if you can write down what comes to you. Write even though you may not know what to write. Just put down a few words and see what. You can be guided by Gods eternal Presence and be a part of the one universal heartbeat of light. You can ask for that presence
to serve God while here in form in life, to indeed be a servant of a love
that leads to the way beyond all strife
and let your love guide me
on the best way
to serve with kindness
and with your grace each day

A talk with Teri Freitas Gormans, from Maui grown therapies and Michael Backes, author Cannabis Pharmacy-Practical Guide to Medical Marijuana. Maui Grown Therapies will host Michael Backes, author of the pioneering book, Cannabis Pharmacy-Practical Guide to Medical Marijuana on Friday, January 19 from 11am to NOON. The book-signing will be held in the Reception Room, which is open to the public; no 329 card is required for entry. Maui Grown Therapies is located at 44 Paʻa Street in the Maui Lani Village Center in Kahului.
First released in 2014, the new revised, updated edition of Cannabis Pharmacy was launched just last month. Researcher and cannabis expert Michael Backes offers evidence-based information on cannabis therapy to manage an array of ailments and conditions. He provides information on how cannabis works in the human body, how best to prepare and administer it, and how to modify and control dosage. The newly revised edition is completely up-to-date with the latest information on the body's encannabinoid system, which is now understood to control emotion, appetite, and memory. He also explains a new system for cannabis classification and 21 additional ailments and conditions that can be treated with medical cannabis. There are currently more than 4.2 million medical cannabis patients in the United States and nearly 20,000 certified patients in Hawaiʻi.
Michael Backes is the Curriculum & Training Advisor for Maui Grown Therapies and a member of the company’s Science & Medical Advisory Board. He specializes in cannabis science and policy issues for a Southern California consultancy. He previously founded the nation’s first evidence-based medical cannabis pharmacy. Backes is active with Project CBD (dedicated to promoting research into the medical utility of cannabidiol) and he is a member of the International Association for Cannabinoid Medicines, and the American Herbal Product’s Association’s Cannabis Committee.
“Michael came to Maui this past July to educate and train our staff,” said Teri Freitas Gorman, Director of Community Relations & Patient Affairs for Maui Grown Therapies. “We refer to his book Cannabis Pharmacy often, like a text book. The new sections on Women’s Health and Preventative Medicine are especially informative. We are very happy that our Maui community will have a chance to meet him at this free educational event.”

Prayer for the Holy Presence
So all-encompassing is this breath of life,
So welcoming this Heart of God,
So enlightened is this Spirit
That embraces me with love.

That this precious Presence brings?

To the expansion of your mind
Open up your heart and soul

Welcome the Holy Presence and the Light

From Father/Mother God

SO WHAT IS the Presence
Can you feel the Presence.
Ah, if you stop an go into meditation yes.. Invisible but full of energy. the Holy Spirit is the Presence of God himself.
The presence of God is a central goal in God’s redemptive mission. All of God’s work ends with the Lord dwelling within us. The presence of God is, not only an objective, it is also the means by which the redemptive mission is fulfilled.
David proclaims, “in your presence there is fullness of joy, at your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Ps 16:11). When we push all our peripheral issues to the periphery, this is all that is left and all that really matters.
Describing the presence of the Spirit is hard to do right. So, it's usually best to stick with what matters most: what the Spirit is doing with us here in this time and place. Christ is the Spirit's message, , and in any case, the Spirit's primary job is to bring us to the Presence.
and how does it compare with the Holy Spirit
The difference between the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit and God's omnipresence is that God's omnipresence is always there, despite the fact that we cannot always feel it. In other words, God's presence is everywhere, at all times, and with all of us, believer and unbeliever alike. Likewise, His Holy Spirit indwells ...
The Holy Spirit is that part of God's Spirit that manifests His presence and care in conveying to men's souls His Divine Love. This Love is the highest and greatest and most holy of His possessions, and can be conveyed to men only by the Holy Spirit;
The Holy Spirit is present with us and within us, in ways beyond description.
SO the presence of God is within. It is in every living being.
But most are not aware of it.
When you see a beautiful Sunrise or Sunset you will feel the miracle of God’s presence.
When you see the candles burning in a church you see the presence there.
When you meditate you must be still and make a space for that presence to come.
Meditation On Awakening to the Presence
Go within and breathe deeply. Make a space for the presence to be with you. Find the center of the light of the presence. ASK THAT PRESENCE TO BE WITH YOU , BREATHE IN THAT PRESENCE.
Welcome the Holy Presence and the miracles that come, From Mother/Father God and blessed Divine Son.
ABSORB THE LOVE OF THIS DIVINE PRESENCE
BECOME aware of each breath of light a conscious filled being a soul brought to life. BE AWARE THAT YOU CAN JUST BE WITH THIS PRESENCE. IN EACH HEARTBEAT THERE IS THIS ETERNAL PRESENCE.
LET THE PRESENCE TAKE ROOT IN YOUR HEART AND SOUL. BREATHE IN THE FRAGRANCE OF THE PRESENCE. SEE THE BLOSSOMING OF THE PRESENCE IN
YOUR HEART. FOR Your heart is FED BY THE PRESENCE.
Feel the love healing the deepest places of your heart.
Feel you soul awakening to the light of the Presence. The soul knows the presence an is eternally in tune with the presence.
Ask for the presence to be with you always.
Breath this spirit of the presence in. Merge with it.
Connect with the source of the presence.
Know that you are the blossoms of the petals of the presence
Come out of meditation slowly.
Visualization.
See yourself holding forth an empty chalice
That reflects a holy light
You hold that Chalice up to GOD and Ask for that sacred presence
To illuminate Your life
See the brilliant light of God pouring into the Chalice
And now that Chalice pours forth the love and light into your soul
Filling it with the Christ’s presence here
Be receptive and allow that light an love to transform you.
Is it so hard to just be
That pure light is the way, the truth and life
An it overcomes the darkness so really allow Christ's love to be
Present in the presence of your heart and mind
With the pure power from the Source We let God guide us everyday
And we hold the Holy Chalice
And we drink the nectar of that wine
And become the love of God
The fruit of heavens vine
how do you feel the presence
can you visualize what the unseen Spirit is
can you seduce it into your life
or is it blocked y these questions in the mind
can you hold the sacred chalice
high up to Heavens shore
to find the fountain that brings eternal light
can you be baptized in its holy waters
and be restored to eternal life
there is this magic of Spirit
that invisible presence of the Master here
and when you feel it with you
you know you are not alone
when its blessings appear
for it whispers in the wind
and it dances in the clouds
it can’t be seen in mirrors
but in the beauty of natures shroud
I greet the presence and welcome
the mysteries of its familiarity
not sure of how to embrace it
or if it can feel me
is it the muse of all the muses
is it the prayer unheard
that can set you free
all I know is the love it infuses
with that spark that lights the soul
that leads me to see the shadow of God
with a Holy breath that sets me free
