 The five senses provide information in a way that allows the majority of people to understand the world around them. Some people, however, are certain they’re able to receive information beyond what they see, taste, smell, hear, and touch. If information is actually received beyond what the everyday physical world reveals, how can we be sure we’re able to recognize, receive, and understand that information?

Blake Moore, talks about Pacific Whale Foundation

A talk with Blake Moore about the eco-programs at PWF.  Pacific Whale Foundation’s Ocean Explorer spotted the first whale sighting of the season on October 8, 2018 at 8:08 AM, 2.4 miles North of Molokini heading towards Maalaea Harbor. T

At least 12,000 humpback whales are believed to migrate to Hawaii each winter, with their rate increasing at 7% per year. They travel from their northern summer feeding area that extends from Northern California to the Bering Sea, arriving in Hawaii to mate, give birth and care for their young calves. Humpback whales are protected by federal and state regulations, which prohibit vessels and other water-users from approaching humpback whales within 100 yards. Maui Fair coming Oct. 4th -7th

I talk with Autumn Wigley and Jack Gist about The Maui Fair. The Maui Fair kicks off this Thursday, October 4th starting with the ever anticipated parade down Ka'ahumanu Avenue from UHMC to the fairgrounds! The fair runs from the 4th thru the 7th. Friday OCt 5th gats open at 5pm and 6:30 it's Kanekoa, and 8pm Exiles Tribute to the Rolling Stones.
