Gareth Laffeley talks about Voices of the Guardians. Gareth is 20 year old singer/songwriter and award winning Native American Flute player, Gareth Laffely is the youngest artist to reach #2 on the Billboard New Age charts at 17 years of age, (Feb 2016).  Gareth received the "Rising Star" Award from the Native American Music Awards, ( one of only 3 artists to receive this award in 15 years). His debut album is entitled, "The Journey",  it's title song was written to honor those who lost their lives on the Trail of Tears.  "The Journey" was  recorded with two-time GRAMMY Award nominated hit songwriter and Dove Award winning producer Robert White Johnson

 A companion film called Spirit Song is due out in November. It was Filmed in Maine  (drumming the sunrise in on Mt Cadillac at Acadia National Park in 30 mile an hour wind gusts) and at SkyWalker symphony sessionsRecording the CD took place in Nashville, Denver, Montana, Skywalker Ranch in CA  and   Santa Fe, NM with Wes Studi. Gareth celebrated his 20^th birthday at SkyWalker Ranch. Gareth is currently a junior in college at Middle Tennessee University Gareth volunteers for Hospice –playing flutes for terminally ill patients and their families.

Had a great talk with Peter Sterling. Peter Sterling is one of the world’s premier harpists in the genre of new age and contemporary instrumental music. During his 28-year career with the harp, he’s had several #1 records on the international radio charts. He was a bronze and silver medal winner in the prestigious Global Music Awards, and he won the New Age/Ambient Song of the Year in the 2017 Hollywood Music and Media Awards. He is also a visual artist working in stained glass and digital photographic paintings he calls “Portals of Light”, which are a unique alchemy of photography, digital effects, crystal and gemstone powders which create multi-dimensional, holographic mandalas. Creating a Good Karma Future

The law of karma can hold us as prisoners throughout our lives until we are released from our past actions by the Light of the lessons we have learned. We can accumulate good karma and bad karma. Much of the law of karma is based on cause and effect and is put into action with our soul’s acquiescence. Life presents us with many lessons so that we may grow and become wiser as a soul. Many people are releasing karma that goes back through lifetimes of experience, so we may not even be aware of our actions that created our predicament. As you grow in your spiritual awareness, you can claim the power to release some of these past actions that can create negative situations in your life.

Brandon Wilson gives tips an insight into pilgrimages and treks

I had a great talk with Brandon Wilson and got tips an insight into pilgrimages and treks.BRANDON WILSON is a Lowell Thomas Award-winning author/photographer, travel expert and explorer whose inspiring adventures have appeared in books, anthologies, international magazines, newspapers and widely across the Internet.

A voracious explorer of nearly 100 countries, Brandon has hiked over 12,000 kilometers (7,500 miles). An expert ultralight trekker, he is especially drawn to the world's great pilgrimage trails, including the Camino de Santiago and Via de la Plata across Spain and Norway's St. Olav’s Way. His fascination with these walks began in 1992 when he and his wife Cheryl became the first Western couple to hike the Buddhist trail from Lhasa, Tibet to Kathmandu, Nepal. He later became the first American to trek the Via Francigena from Canterbury, England to Rome. Then in 2006, he and a French friend re-blazed the 4500-kilometer trail from France to Jerusalem naming it the Templar Trail in their honor.

In 2009, Brandon and Cheryl hiked from Trieste, Italy to Monaco on the Via Alpina and other trails. This 1200-mile, eight-country trekking adventure inspired his last book, Over the Top & Back Again: Hiking X the Alps.

More recently, in 2016, he trekked the Alta Via One across the Dolomites in northern Italy and in 2014, he and Anders Stävhag, on an Explorers Club flag expedition, successfully hiked the historic St. Olav's Trail from Selanger, Sweden to Trondheim, Norway.

Wilson has been named a Fellow of the prestigious Explorers Club. He is also a Knight of Grace in the Sovereign Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, and a graduate of University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He is a peace and human rights activist.
